Friends of Yea Railway Park
The Friends of Yea Railway is a group dedicated to the restoration of the historic Yea Railway Station and the surrounding land to public use. The Buildings, Station, Cafeteria and Goods Shed have been restored and the area has been landscaped and planted. A Picnic Shelter, Barbecue Facilities, Toilets, Children's Playground and large Skatepark have been provided for local and public use. The Goulburn River High Country Rail Trail which is due for completion at the end of 2011 will pass through the park precinct. The Yea Country Market is held at the Railway Station on the first Saturday of the month from September to May

Lee Valley Regional Park
Lee Valley Regional Park stretches 26 miles along the River Lee from Ware in Hertfordshire, through Essex and East London to East India Dock Basin on the River Thames. The Park’s 10,000 acres comprises of a mix of heritage sites, nature reserves and open green spaces and sports facilities and attracts over 4 million visitors a year. Lee Valley Regional Park Authority will own, manage and fund the brand new White Water Canoe Centre in Broxbourne plus the VeloPark and Eton Manor venues on Olympic Park in legacy. They will join the other regional sports venues the Authority owns to create a chain of sporting excellence along the 26 mile long Regional Park.
